Manager Corporate Strategic Projects

Based at Kigali International Airport, RwandAir continues to connect Rwanda to Africa, Europe, and the Middle East while maintaining high standards in safety and service.

Position Overview

Job Title: Manager Corporate Strategic Projects
Positions Available: 1
Reporting To: Director, Corporate & Strategic Planning
Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Lead and manage strategic projects across the company
✔️ Identify new project opportunities and develop execution plans
✔️ Track performance (budget, timelines, risks, and outcomes)
✔️ Work with finance teams to monitor revenue and ROI
✔️ Improve project management systems and frameworks
✔️ Coordinate across departments and external partners
✔️ Support business strategy through project roadmaps
✔️ Prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders
✔️ Lead meetings, planning sessions, and project reviews

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants should have:

✔️ Master’s Degree in Project Management (preferred)
✔️ Certification such as PMP or Prince2
✔️ Advanced training in Project Management (IATA is an advantage)
✔️ At least 5 years of experience in the airline industry
✔️ Minimum 2 years managing complex, multi-department projects
✔️ Strong leadership and strategic planning experience
✔️ Knowledge in vendor, risk, and change management
✔️ Skills in Microsoft Project, MS Office, and WBS tools
✔️ Strong communication and analytical abilities
✔️ Understanding of the aviation/transport sector
